The Systemness Values in Gayoneseâs culture is very much present in the National Education Values that should be achieved, as there is discussion in daily habitual or Resam Edet (AR. Aman Finan, 1998:45), in this discussion are the values and norms that we found in our daily habits, which is a daily habit, the position does not contain legal sanctions but is closely related to educational purposes, such as (Virilocal) : “Mah Atur” – that means is the plan to bring art troupe, this is as relatively RESAM, this activity is justified to do because it can carry and or foster unity among the citizens is also in the process of implementation so many lessons to educate members of the society towards a moral or a norm. It is already arranged and written in the rules of life in Gayo society itself which is a system of values and norms of society Gayoneseâs social system[1].
In the customs and cultural traditions of Gayoneseâs Values Education be able to establish norms of learners, as found in the discussion of “Indigenous Origin of Four” “Asaliyah Edet Si Opat[2]“ or which explains that the custom has become the main of customs and Gayoneseâs culture itself, in the main traditional explained that the customary of Gayo society (urang Gayo) should follow to:
- Edettulah; itâs means, the customary held always and always be endeavored not contrary to Islamic teachings, which explain the rules and social norms, dress, deal with parents, talking, walking, welcoming guests, how to deal with the Prayer (Tengku) / Teachers, etc.
- Edetmuhakamah; this means, the custom is customary deliberation in society and the environment both formal and non-school or In Formal. In this tradition asserts that among community members and educators are also learners in order to have a responsible attitude and not to pit each other among them.
- Edet Mutmainah; this means, the customary explain or confirm that, solidarity, humanity, etc. are very necessary in this life in order to live, and are strongly encouraged to also knows about thanks-for-giving in favors gratefulness.
- Resam Edet; This means, confirms the customary norms interact in everyday life. It is often applied when carrying out activities that follow the existing norms.Simak
According to author state that an area there is anything in specifi; as which are basically related to the natural environment, socio-economic environment, and socio-cultural environment. And the area needs is anything that is needed by the community in an area, especially for the survival and increased standards of public life, which is adjusted with the direction of regional development as well as potential areas concerned[3].
So, would not develop a local touch to its development if not based on culture or in other words the typical forgetting their-own regionalism, especially in aspects of educational. Above paradigm has also been stated in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 Year 2003 on National Educational System Chapter I General Provisions Article 1, paragraph 1, paragraph 9 is very pressing that it is the Forum for Education to develop  full potential of Indonesian society, which leads to a change in attitude and repairs and also other ones morals.

Now day we are in the globalization situation, where we must able to competition especially in the education process ,therefore education must improving from day after day the improving education can we do perspective culture, with the education the culture can transfer from generation to generation

Letâs asking the question can education improving by culture.? Its answer is âcanâ because in the village or society we always find out the friendship of the people there, it is because the culture there very must present.
In the gayoneseâs society the culture became the rule and law in dally life, must the follow the member of the people in society in gayoneseâs the culture has the four kinds culture : they are edettullah, edet muhakammah,edet mutmainah,and resam edet, they are not contrary with Islamic teaching, when it aplicated in our life we became better and better.

In the big lines (GBHN) of Indonesia explained about cultural and each district must keep and improving for stronged individually nation and the kind of habitual cultural is treasure of Indonesia. And according to Aman Pinan and Mahmud Ibrahim in her bookâs Sariat and Adat Gayo part two expalin about cultural in the Gayones for example norm in Gayoness, dressing and habbitual action in Gayo life. So, we as Gayo peoples must can guard we cultural in other that the human character of religious texis not will be lost.
I agree with this text, because in education very importance value and norms on people personality and life, will establish totalitas individual. Because of that, value education which direct to moral sweetable with truth norms become a esensial for people. We found in Sabda Nabi Muhammad saw: (pakailah dari pakaian-pakaian yang putih dan bungkuslah orang mati di antara kamu dengannya, sesungguhnya ia sebaik-baik pakaianmu), and we found in Al-Qurâan surah Al-Aâraf ayat 31. And explain about how to good talking, we must softly and respectful, we found in Al-Qurâan surah Al-Baqarah ayat 83.

Norms in Gayo is closely connected with education, discipline, social ethics and morals are concerned with education. In the world of education is associated with edetullah, edet muhkamah, edet Mutmainnah and resam edet. In religion we have shown clearly that pndidikan was in desperate need of good ethics among teachers and teachers, teachers and students and students with each other. Because living with a religious focus, easy to live with the knowledge and hudup with beautiful art. And the study also has no limits for everyone.
If all the people especially in the Gayo understand and implement what is contained in the edet Opat, maybe life in Gayo will be better than now, especially in education.

M.Elt about the system of culture for improving of educational As we know that a custom of Gayo society is a culture or custom of customary not contrary to Islamic teaching with give norms to Gayo society and in this traditional assert that among community and education or learn.
there are four custom of customary of Gayoness : Edettulah, Edetmuhakamah, Edet Mutmainnah and resam niedet.
⢠Edettulah is a culture with Sunatullah base on wahyu Allah. In the Al Qurâ an surah Al Israâ ayah 77, Allah say that sunatula never change.
⢠Edet MuhaKamah itâs mean a habitual that custom that make to through discuss between leader of religion and leaser of Islamic. In the book Drs. Mahmud Ibrahim, with title Syariah dan adat istiadat, firs addition, he said that improving of potention to through attitude.
⢠Edet Mutmainnah itâs mean a habitual with arrange, and has structure.in the Alqurâan surah almaidah ayah 113.the explain about pace was in the truth

I agree with this article, because this article not contrary with Al Qur’an. like in paragraph two, in edetullah explain about how to take a good dress and politely. in AlQur’an we have in surah Al Mudatsir (4-5) explain about how to good dress too. And then talking, in Edetulah we can know how to goog talking, like with our parent, our friend and etc. in Al Qur’an, we have in Surah Al Baqarah(83) and AL Israa’ (23) this surah explain about how to talking, with good and politely. so his article not contrary with teaching of Islam.

Edetullah, one of four edet si opat interesting for our education . for example how to talk with teacher, speaking, cress, social norm, walking, etika with teacher. In other word edetullah Gayoâs custom so central in education because very related with our religion.
In the Al-Quran say âan katakanlah kepada hambaKu hendaklah mereka mengucapkan perkataan yang lebih baik (benar) sesungguhnya setan itu menimbulkan perselisihan diantara mereka. I agree with the article, because in gayo culture there are indigenous valves, education, legal valves and daily habits. Because in the indigeneous gayo is not contradict regious teaching of Islam premises.
In this, I very interested in edettulah, edet muhakamah, edet mutaiminah, and resam edet. Because there has been included on the religiuos teaching of Islam. And also we can understand the good and the bab. And the article that we could understand what has customary, but in paragraf 6 there have the world grow, which means âtumbuhâ the word contain a metafhors because the metafhor is used to discribe a concept by refering to a parallel concept.

This letter comfirm that gayo Culture very fundamental to Islam than the way of talking, they dress, receiving guest, good relation with neigbor. In the hadist Rasululah saw said â demi Allah sekiranya engkau berbicara lembah lembut, kepadanya (orang tua) dan beri makan padanya, niscaya enkau benar-benar akan masuk surga.
And n the surat Al Aâraf ayat 26:
â hai anak adam, sesunguhnya kami telah menurunkan kepadamu pakaian untuk menutupi aurat mu dan pakaian indah untuk perhiasan dan pakaian jagwa itulah yang paling baik yang demikian itu adalah sevagai tanda-tanda kekuasaan Allah mudah-mudahan mereka selalu ingat.
So gayo Culture is not contrary with Islamic teaching, they are same the way.

From this paragraf I have gotten interesting word that isâ the customary held always and always be endeavored not contrary to Islamic teachings,â . I have felt it is a word that make me want analise â why Gayo culture is not contrary with Islamic teaching?â.
As we know, Gayo people believe Islamic religion, and they are islamic. Why? I feel this culture was made when Kingdom of Gayo. Kingdom of Gayo has name is â kerajaan Islam Lingga dan Isaqâ gayoâs people know it is âKerajaan Lingeâ. According to Muhammad Umar in Peradapan Aceh, in 375 H, 986 M, Sriwijaya and kingdom Islamic Kingdom of Peureulak war, and many people moved from that and one of place that they moved to Lingge, and they touch Islamic teaching to Lingga people. And finally Gayo people believe this religion.
H Muslim Ibrahim said that system of art in Aceh, art, attitude, syariat were very relete with islamic teaching because that base of habl min Allah and habl min al-nas, so culture of Aceh relate with Islamic teaching.
This case is very different with Islam in to Jawa island, Jawa culture is very difficult have gotten Islamic teaching because they has other belief those are budha and hindu, and this is very contrary with Islamic teaching, so many jawaâs people believe Islam but can not leave their old tradition. (Atang Abd hakim in Metodelogi Studi Islam).
I have felt Gayo in long time ago has belief dinamisme and anamisme, this is old belief, and they are not Budha or Hindu why I say that because If there are Budha and Hindu religion before Islamic, I think we have gotten evident but nothing, like wise candi, artepak2. We just have gotten Islamic artepak.
So from this matter I can answer âwhy Gayo culture is not contrary with Islamic teaching ?â Because this culture was made by Islamic people, They are Kingdom of Gayo â Islamic Kingdom Of Linggeâ.

I think this article is interesting, and I agree firstly with the title that is the system of cultural for improving of educational. As I know cultural can improve humanâs education, because in culture there are some moral and education that can be learnt by us. It is suit to Edward Taylor opinion, that is culture is a complex of a whole of knowledge, belief, art, moral, law, custom, and ability that people get as member of society. From his opinion, it is clear that culture has ability to improve education in many aspect.
I have something that interest me in your article, that is about asaliyah edet si opat, especially about edettulah in deal with parent. We get education firstly at home with our parent. If we can speak well and good attitude at home, we can speak well too in our environment. If we can speak politeness with our parent we can speak politeness with another people too. Deal with parent is interesting topic to be discussed, because in Al Qurâan is mentioned, thatâs mean: and your God has decreed that you worship but none but ALLAH SWT, and that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word disrespect, nor shout at them (ah) but address them in terms of honour(Q.S. Al Israâ : 23)
From the ayat we know that in Al Qurâan we must keep and treat our parent well. And we are forbidden to say bad word, not just bad word, if we say just âahâ ALLAH forbid us, so we must keep our word and tongue when we are speaking to our parent.
But in English, there is one thing that I dislike when we are speaking to our parent. That is when we want to call our parent in English we call them by using you, I dislike it because in our holy Al Qurâan we are always commanded to say politeness to our parent, so I think as muslim we have to change this bad habit, that is when we want to call our parent for example, would you help me?(to our mother), we can change it with âwould help me please mom?â. It is more polite. I think if we want to call our parent with âyouâ,we can use it but must be followed by mother/father or honorable word for our parent as the example above.
